This is the 1/700 scale resin kit from JAG. It is of the United States Coast Guard cutter Hamilton. An updated version of the earlier model. Mainly the CIWS added and additional radars. The resin kit itself is absolutely a masterpiece in its casting methods. There is no flash whatsoever, and very little clean-up is needed, even on the smallest of parts. One nice thing about JAGS kits are they have the decals included. This kit in particular, has Photo Etch included as well. Alot of other JAG kits do not have complete PE sets, so you must resort to the aftermarked companys. Instructions are clear and easily understood. The small scale is a challenge for even the advanced modeler, but with a little patience, it can be done.
