This is the Hasegawa 1/72 scale kit. The kit itself is good, with finely molded recessed panel lines. The clear parts come in a separate bag and the plastic is molded in gray. I was gonna build it OOB, but decided to add some detail to make it better. I first cut out the portions for the seats, removed the molded in cyclic mounts, reworked the seats and made new frames for them, added Photo etch brass instrument panels, added the insulation on the inside, made new door handles out of solder and

Top photo shows the added Photoetch instrument panel, along with the cyclic controls made from brass rod and styrene. After further research from references, I found this configuration to be wrong, so I removed the molded in seat frames, removed the whole cyclic control mount, and made all new ones from scrap styrene and brass rod, botom photo.

Inside rear bulkhead. For the inside padded insulation, I've added foil. The foil came from the cream cheese labels.
One side of the label is good for 1/48 scale, but to tone it down for 1/72, I used the other side which is a little more subltle.
